Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos showing love and affection in this photo contest in collaboration with Vanessa Joy.

"This was a VERY hard choice! There are so many great entries and so many different interpretations of the contest and love that I almost couldn't award just one.

As a wedding photographer I think capturing emotion is just as, if not more, important than perfectly capturing photographic technique. Of course we want our photography skills to be there, but what's more important for the people who we're capturing memories for, is the emotion and sentiment felt when looking back on that memory through an image." - Vanessa Joy

"After All These Years struck a chord with me immediately and I kept going back to it. Sure the snap was correctly exposed and color tone beautiful, but the way the woman is stretched out towards her husband with a look in her eyes that she must've had on her wedding day is just remarkable. I've only been married for 5 years and if after so many more I'm able to stare up at my husband's eyes with that kind of love and longing, and him look back at me the same way, it'll be more than I deserve." - Vanessa Joy
