This photo was taken at the Myakka River State Park in Sarasota Florida one of my favorite places for spotting birds and wildlife of all kindsTime
I imagine it was probably early in the morning, as I am always one of the first ones waiting for them to open the gates at 8 am.Lighting
No like I said it was more than likely in the morning.Equipment
My Canon Rebel T3 took this photo :)Inspiration
I love the migratory birds that are normally in the park in the winter months...although as of lately their hasn't been that many of them. I was really excited to see the Stilt were around but no in abundance just a few birds were in the lake.Editing
No I'm sure it is just cropped, as it's a little hard to get close to these guys.In my camera bag
My Canon and a Nikon 1S1 that takes unbelievable landscape photos.Feedback
The Myakka River State Park normally has a broad range of migratory birds in the winter months. The only problem is that the park is full of winter visitors. I normally visit the park once a week in the summer months, when I have it all to myself. I am able to get up close to the deer, hawks, hogs, gators and birds that are familiar to Florida
