Have no clue who it is but if he is famous and the picture is well known I'll take it as a compliment!

I was intrigued so I looked him up. Wonderful images! If only I'd known about him before I went to Bali. He would have made my trip richer. I took about a couple of thousand pics but only posted about 40 so far. What do you think?

I also found the pic you were referring too. It funny because when is got to the village the kids playing there were naked too and I asked them if they could put on clothes. He is Balinese and I know the culture is very different there but wasn't sure about our western ways so I played it safe

Fantastic photo! I LOVE Bali. We plan to go back soon. What is the name of the village where this waterfall is?

Location
I took this photo in a remote village in Bali, Indonesia.Time
Around 5pm.Lighting
By the time we got to the location the sun was weak as sunset in Bali at the time was around 5.45. Plus the waterfall was providing further shade. I needed a narrow aperture to capture all the action and a fast shutter speed...hence the higher ISO.Equipment
I attempted to use a tripod but the river current was too strong...I actually lost a sandal that Dayana was almost swept away! Any other lighting was impossible. A zoom lens was used.Inspiration
Beauty of the location. I knew beforehand that children of the village always played and washed at this river and wanted to capture them having tons of fun at their natural spot...luckily I found lots of willing subjects.Editing
Boosted contrast and clarity. In my camera bag
Three lenses, one 50mm 1.4 prime for portraits, one zoom, and and an ultra wide for landscapes. Plus ND filters like the 10-stop and the 3-stop as well as a CPL.Feedback
Get out of the usual touristy areas of the country you visit if possible. Hire a local with a driver to take you around. Don't be afraid to get dirty...or in this case wet, as I did.
