Don't ever be vain or wait in vain. Both are a tremendous waste.
But it is a mesmerizing, although sad image

Location
This image was taken on a lighting demonstration stand. However, I wasn't using flash, just part of the onlooking crowd.Time
NoonLighting
Although this is a studio set up, I wasn't using any of the equipment. Therefore the lighting at the time of exposure was very mixed.Equipment
I'd just picked up a Nikon D2Hs, a 4MB pixel camera, so I shot with that. The lens in question was the Nikkor 18-200mm VR. No Flash, just available light (very mixed).Inspiration
I was inspired to take the photo, simply because I liked the set up.Editing
Because the original image had a very pronounced green cast I converted it to monochrome. In my camera bag
Back when this shot was made (about 4 years ago) my main camera was a Nikon D2X. In my kit bag today I have a pair of Nikon Df cameras and several prime lenses (20mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.4 and a Nikkor 105mm f/2 DC).Feedback
