Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken at the mouth of the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, LA. Madisonville is located on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain about 30 miles north of New Orleans.Time
A group of us from our photography club went down the the mouth river around 6:30.Lighting
The sun had not set but was behind the large cloud so it was giving off the orange hue with some sun rays.Equipment
The shot was taken with a Canon EOS REBEL T5i with an aperture of f/8 and the ISO was set at 400. The shutter was 1/1000.Inspiration
It was a group outing with the photography club to the month of the river as club challenge. At the next general meeting, we review the photos and the membership offers critique and suggestions on the photos/Editing
I used the Luminar 4 program to sharpen the photo and tweak the color a little bit.In my camera bag
In one, I have a Canon EOS 90D. The next bag, I have EOS Rebel T5i. The lens are all Canon's EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro, EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 and EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. I also have another bag with a Canon EOS M5 with a EF-M 18-150mm. I used this camera mostly for trips. And last I have a Canon PowerShot SX740 HS. I bring this camera when I am during errands around town.Feedback
Patience, patience, patience! Don't rush. You have to wait for that "right" moment. You can tweak a bit later in post-processing
