Location

I took this beautiful peony shot at my local home improvement store they had such a great selection of different blooming flowers on this particular day .

Time

This is one of my most favorite photos. It was around mid morning and I found this beautiful plant sitting on a rack waiting to be put out for sale . The lighting was perfect to show the delicateness of this beautiful blossom.

Lighting

I look for lighting that will give the best possible exposure to show and highlight this gorgeous blossom. It was all natural light that gave me the best possible capture.

Equipment

I use my I-Phone 11 Pro Max . I rarely use the flash mode . I prefer natural lighting whenever I can . To my mind when taking photos of plants or blossoms it seems to do the best in the natural light .

Inspiration

I love talking photos of all manner of plants and blossoms and what catches my eye and this one really stood out .

Editing

I usually don’t need to do any processing . If the subject and the natural lighting bring what my eye is looking for together that’s when I capture it . I may take several from different angles and choose the overall best one .

In my camera bag

I use only my I Phone 11 Pro Max. I have recently purchased several different lenses especially for the I Phone and I will be learning how to best work with them .

Feedback

Always look for the subject matter you want to capture and look at it with the natural lighting from different angles. Take several different shots and check them as sometimes what you may think looks great upon viewing doesn’t have the look you actually wanted . So move on to other types of subjects close to that and try again . It is all a learning process in capturing the essence of your subject matter. Happy Snapping ????
