at it is a composite it was taken at various times of day but the main image (bottom half ) was taken at 12.15Lighting
The original image the farm was taken in November 2013 with a very overcast sky this was then removed and replaced with a sky taken in 2020 The mountains were then added from a previous holiday and the light was then balanced to match the overall scean To give the image a wintery look i painted in the snow on the path/rooftops and the fields and on top of the van I relit the trees by increasing the saturation and general warmth and lowered the tempreture of the fieldsEquipment
Canon Eos 550d I cant remember the lens but it was proberbly the ef 28-135 and it would have been hand heldInspiration
It looked good at the time and although it was dull in the original image i knew it had potential and i had a idea of improving it with a combination of photoshop and luminarEditing

be willing to combine skies from other locations taken at all times of the day and even parts of your image from completly different countries. As a travel agent i have had the privaledge of visiting many countries and usually hure a car as you cant rely on a coach driver to stop where the photo is!
