I took this photo in my backyard, I have passion fruit that grows against a wall. When the flowers bloom they are so beautiful and the bees just love the flowers.Time
I had to wait till a little after the golden hour as the wall is in the shade of the house. I waited until the sun had risen enough to get the amount of sunlight on the flower.Lighting
The flowers are so beautiful, but with just that little sunlight the colours look just a little deeper and shaper. I did have to wait for my perfect moment, because if I'd taken too long then I would have full sunshine on the flowers. I was looking for the sunlight but not direct sunshine on the flowers.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 1000D with a tripod. Aperture f/14 ISO 400Inspiration
I really love passion fruit flowers with their different layers and colours.Editing
I did not do any post processing. In my camera bag
I always have my Canon, 3 memory cards and my Canon 18-55mm lense and a Sigma 70-300mm lense. I also keep a lense hood in my bag just in caseFeedback
I struggle with how to portray the subject. As an amateur, I can only say take loads of photos. Practice makes better. Don't be afraid to try something different.
