FollowI took this photo when I was flying over London in a helicopter. It was a beautiful clear sky. How many landmarks can you see?

Location
I was a passenger flying from a helicopter owned by EBG Helicopters Ltd based at Redhill Aerodrome.Time
It was mid morningLighting
This was purely lighting from Mother EarthEquipment
I used my Canon 1DX mk2 with a 100-400mm USM IS (mk2) lens with no filter.Inspiration
London seen from above is always inspiring. There are so many landmarks and the skyline is awesome. The heli lanes take you above the Thames and we were flying around 1200 ft.Editing
The only post processing I remember was adding a little contrast as the camera setting was already set to landscape which increases the colour saturation slightly. I may have rotated the image because of the constant movement of the aircraft, however, this would only have been a small amount due to the fact when I look through the viewfinder, there is a built I level which shows up in the display. In my camera bag
On the day, it was minimal. I only had a lens cloth. The bag was a medium size Lowepro.Feedback
Take photos of things you like. Join several groups or forums and never be afraid to ask questions. Keep referring to the manual of you need to know anything. The canon website also gives tips and advice. For this particular photograph, I wanted a good depth of field so I used a higher f stop which increased the depth of field.
