This photo was taken on my home studio - it's actually our master bedroom that I use for boudoir shootsTime
This was a daytime shoot with our friend Olivia. She's an awesome model who lives nearbyLighting
I shoot primarily with Profoto gear. This was done with a Profoto B1 in a gridded 1X4 stripbox. I love the control that with that setup. The stripbox was up a few feet over Olivia - camera left. I used a second stripbox behind the model as a little bit of a backlight and fillEquipment
My primary camera for studio shoots is a Nikon D850. This shot was taken handheld using a Nikon 85mm 1.4. I shot the photo at 1/125 of a second, ISO 100 at 2.2 aperture to get just the amount of depth of field that I wantedInspiration
I love shooting boudoir and Olivia was the perfect model. She's such a professional !!Editing
Editing was primarily in Lightroom. I did roundtrip to photoshop for some very light skin retouch. In my camera bag
I shoot a wide range of photos - from Division 1 basketball to ballet. I shoot Nikon - the D850 for studio and a D5 for sports. Favorite lenses are the 70-200 and 24-70. As in this photo I shoot primes as well - the 85mm Nikon and a 50mm Sigma Art lens. Speaking of bags, I have a few. Still searching for the perfect oneFeedback
Olivia is a great model. Her natural posing ability - not to mention her great looks made this photo. I look forward to photographing her again
