Behind The Lens

Location

Taken on a secluded beach on Koh Phangan just before sunrise. Lots of hiking through jungle and climbing over rocks to get here.

Time

Set up at 6am, this image was taken at 6.45am.

Lighting

Sunrise, key light with fill light from godox ad400.

Equipment

Nikon d850, sigma 85mm.1.4, godox ad400. Plus a godox 38cm softbox with double baffle

Inspiration

Early morning light with rich vibrant blonde hair gave me the idea

Editing

Just simple colour correction, it was to warm because of the sunrise, looked to unnatural even though that is what I had imagined.

In my camera bag

Always carry an 85mm. Lots of off camera lights, the ad200 are lightweight, small and pack a punch..great back up lights
