Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken on the water front of the Lake Macquarie in the Suburb of Eleeabana at a Park.
Time
T remember on that night, we had a storm coming over with a nice summer storm, Jumped into my car and started to chase the lighting around the Lake. It was take on 28/01/2019 at 12:08pm
Lighting
Taking phots of lighting is a thrill and a challenge. i found the spot with the boat and pelican which made a great background for the lighting
Equipment
i used a Canon 7D with 18-250mm lens and a Tripod with a timer shutter.
Inspiration
I love the challenge of taking phots of lighting, it is rewarding when they turn out a beauty. It all about timing, Speed and been in the right spot at the right time.
Editing
I like to leave my photos as natural as possible to give the real beauty of the look, I may sharpen and put clarity with some de-hazing of the image.
In my camera bag
i normally Have my Cannon 7D, 18-250mm lens, I mainly use, 50mm lens, 10-20mm lens
Feedback
Give it a go, it is very rewarding, you have to be in the right place at the right time.....always have your camera with you...I use Bulb Mode for taking my photos, Once focused turn it on to Manual focus mode.
