Managed to catch a Nobby-Nobby (Amphibolurus nobbi) sitting on next door's fence. I used a long telephoto lens to keep my distance, so it didn't just jump off the moment I approached. Nobby-Nobbies are a type of dragon lizard of which there are a number of species in Australia. They frequent scrub and grasslands, and also like rocky areas. They also love backyards and you can find plenty of them around town. They eat insects and other small invertebrates. Caught this guy in greyish skies just before a storm. Pentax K-s1, 100-300mm@300mm, ISO400, f-6.7, 1-80sec.
