Behind The Lens

Location

Jasper National Park, Canada

Time

Morning

Lighting

Winter sun stars are tricky due to the intense snow reflection. I underexposed the image a bit and narrowed to f22. My friend was dressed in all black which created an interesting contrast.

Equipment

Sony A7RIII

Inspiration

The Rockies. I enjoy hikers mesmerized by the opening views of the mountains

Editing

I am a very classic photographer with minimal precessing. I use spot removal often because the new mirrorless get dusty very easily. I cropped a bit and enhanced the contrast.

In my camera bag

Sony A7RIII, Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, Sigma Art 20mm f1.4, Sony 12-24mm F4, Sony G 100-400mm F.5.6, Manfrotto tripod and NiSi ND filters

Feedback

Enjoy Sun stars... They give a different touch to a landscape. Use F22 and risk the light.
