No. This was done in an office with florescent lights, so there was a bit of white balance that I adjusted in Lightroom Classic.Equipment
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Lens: EF24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Aperture f/4?ISO 2000?Shutter 1/100?Focal Length 105/1?Inspiration
Brandy and I are lawyers who have represented the Michigan State Police Troopers Association. At the time of this picture in 2017, Brandy was awaiting bar exam results. I kidded Brandy about becoming a Michigan State Police Trooper instead of a lawyer and had her put on the hat of a Trooper who was in the office because I had my camera with me. The hat looked very nice on her!Editing
Nothing major. A modest cropping and a few minor slider adjustments (e.g., white balance, etc.). I did "erase" the number that appeared on the hat in case the State Police frowned on persons who are not enlisted with the Department wearing any official department equipment. In my camera bag
It depends on where I am going or what I plan to photograph. Besides my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, I typically have a flash, spare batteries, and two or three lens. If I am on vacation or at a destination away from home, I tend to take more lenses and a tripod.Feedback
Be creative and look around for props that might enhance the picture, such as the state police "Garrison hat" in this picture. I don't think that this same picture of Brandy without the hat would have drawn much attention on Viewbug.
