Location
The photo was taken in some local woods just after a heavy snow fallTime
This is one of my favourite simple images that I took at about midday when the sun was at it's highest in the sky noir a winter monthLighting
the sun was just sneaking through the trees of the wood so I was able to get a starburst effectEquipment
I used a Nikon D750 with a 28mm prime lens. The shot was taken handheld while walking through the woodsInspiration
I just love the warmth of the dying bracken and the warmth of the suns rays against the shadows of the woods and also the whiteness of the snowEditing
I use Lightroom to do all my processing as I shoot in a RAW Format. I edit and bring out the shadows and White Balance to ensure the snow looks whiteIn my camera bag

To get a starburst effect use a high F stop like 16 when shooting
