Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in a hotel in Las Vegas. We were there for a dance convention.

Time

This was around 6pm. A long day for her. At least 6 hours of dance classes with 6 different styles. Right after that, we were doing this photoshoot

Lighting

The light of the hall helped to show what she was really feeling at that time. She was exhausted and she could barely keep up with the photoshoot.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D750 and a 50mm 1.8 lens.

Inspiration

This was a candid photo. We were doing a dance photoshoot but she was beyond tired. While I was reviewing one of the pictures she just crashed and I decided to take this photo and it ended up being one of the bests

Editing

Yes,there was not a lot of post-processing, just changing lights and shadows a little bit and changing the tone to match the feeling.

In my camera bag

I have my camera body and 3 of my lenses. I usually bring my prime 50mm and 85mm because they have an incredible bokeh for portraits. As sometimes there's not a lot of space, I also bring my 24/70, f2.8.

Feedback

Just let the things flow. Let the model relax. And just be quick whenever the right moment comes.
