The first settlers on the site in Aloney Aba were the second generation of the German Templar movement, which formed in 1907 an agricultural colony called "Waldheim"
(Waldheim, in German: "Neve-Forest").
In the center of Aloney Aba lies an imposing site of an evangelical church, founded in 1916, after some of the templers returned to the place.
