Tavy Cleave is probably my favourite park of the moors and despite highland cows creating a few road blocks on the journey down, nearly loosing my balance rock hopping, and getting lost in my attempt to locate the much photographed waterfall, it was a fantastic trip with some beautiful clear skies.
This photograph came about after walking down the River Tavy and noticing the Milkyway rising dramatically over towards Ger Tor? Fortunately, I was able to perch myself on a rock near the centre of the river to achieve the composition. A fantastic couple of hours well spent!
