I love to hate this photo. It does an excellent job of presenting urban density and crowding; the B-W choice removes other distractions, leaving just the crowding. But having lived the last 10 years in small rural towns, such crowding makes me very uncomfortable.

Location
I took the photo on top of Empire State Building, it was my first experience of taking such photos.Time
At 8PM back in March the Sun was down by the time. So it was dark enough. I could take a tripod on the top of the building so I tried my best to lean over fence and fix camera for slow shutter speed.Lighting
Yellow, red and orange. This what you typically see when you look down to any almost any downtown. I wanted to find something unusual, just to catch the eye and spend a little bit more time on the picture.Equipment
It was shot on Canon 6D with kit 24-105 lensInspiration
When it is my first or second or can't-count time on top of a city looking down surrounded by skyscrapers, I feel so much inspiration to keep the moment. To take it with me. To share with people.Editing
Just removed saturation and corrected contrast a little bit.In my camera bag
Canon 6D and kit lens. Nothing else.Feedback
