This photo was taken around 7:30pm which was during the sunset on this day.Lighting
The sunset was allowing for just the perfect time for this photo. While looking through the lens taking this picture I felt the relaxation that I usually feel when capturing an image like this on a calm, reflective lake.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon EOS REBEL T3i. Other setting were Aperture: 71/10 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1600 Focal Length: 85/1 I didn't use any other equipment for this shot.Inspiration
I was walking in the park and I was missing my home in Newfoundland and the ocean at the time I shot this. I was looking for some nice water shots and the combination of the trees and water was just what I was looking for. The water was calm and the sun was setting at just the right time allowing me to capture the beautiful reflection of the trees in the lake.Editing
I didn't do any post-processing with this shot. I thought it looked beautiful just as it was, rather than altering the image and losing quality. In my camera bag
The most important thing that I have in my bag is a spare, fully charged battery.Feedback
Sunrise and sunset are my favorite times for capturing this type of scene.
