Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image in my studio!

Time

This was taken in the early afternoon, the lighting was perfect and I knew I had to use my little horse for an image with Erica!

Lighting

This is all natural light, I had a large reflector to the one side of her to help light her face and dress more!

Equipment

Canon 6D with my 24-105mm lens, Oben Tripod

Inspiration

I had been wanting to do a in studio fine art dance session with a ballerina and my friend Erica was super happy to do it! As I was photographing her I kept seeing the horse out of the corner of my eye, and when she got into this outfit, I said I need to try something and this was the end result! It is one of my favourite images!!

Editing

I just added some contrast, dodge and burned and hand coloured the image, not much post processing on this one!

In my camera bag

I have my Canon 6D, 24-105mm lens,50mm lens, 85mm lens, oben tripod, canon remote, a flash, UV filters, tamron zoom lens and some prisms for different lighting effects.
