Love this shot. All my pictures are taken with a cell phone it actually takes better pictures than my camera.

I took this photo while visiting at Yosemite National Park in California. This was on the lower part of the trail that leads to the top of Vernal FallsTime
This was on a hot mid-afternoon, sun high in the sky dayLighting
Quite frankly this was just a random photo I took with my cell phone when I saw that the light mixing with the waterfall mist was making a rainbow low along the trailEquipment
Droid Razor...nuttin specialInspiration
I love to hike and this was the first time I'd ever been to Yosemite. It was the most gorgeous view I'd ever seen while out on a hike and being at Yosemite was the time when I realized I wanted to be better at photographyEditing
Just brought out a little color with PicassaIn my camera bag
Currently I'm just shooting with a Sony A6000, 16-50 wide angle and a 55-210 Sony. Nothing special. On a budget :)Feedback
For people like myself who love being on the trail and hiking or camping, no matter what the weather in the mountains or in the woods there seems to be no end to the possibilities. Put yourself out there and see what nature is giving you in that moment. I don't think I'm qualified to give technical advice. There are so many here that I look too for advice to be consistent in capturing amazing shots.
