I realize that this was probably cropped to cut out the tree on the left a bit. I think the tree should be shown in its entirety as it is white in comparison to the black tree in the upper right. the black tree in in the graveyard. The white tree is at the side of the left opening of the church. I love black and white images. Make the most of the symbolism of it. If you can, please consider a second upload that shows a bit more of the tree. Great job! Welcome to Viewbug.

Behind The Lens
Location
This is taken in a village in West Yorkshire where my parents live. I am an amateur photographer who takes photos for a hobby. I particularly enjoy taking them in black and white and of local areas I know and love. I enjoy being able you capture the ordinary in a slightly different, more striking way.Time
There had been a lot of floods in the area and after a particularly heavy downpour I decided to go for a walk. The sky was very dark and overcast even though it was only about 3 in the afternoon.Lighting
I chose black and white for the photo as I thought it portrayed the moodiness of the day. It really hightened the lighting of the sky.Equipment
I used the Olympics omd em-10 camera with a 14-42mm lens.Inspiration
I love the village where my parents love and am keen to take photos of it throughout the year. This photo was taken during a time when there was lots of flooding in the local area. After one heavy downpour I decided to go and take photos. This was one of the ones I took on my way to the flooded areas. The sky gave the church an eerie and moody look, a real contrast to the role it plays in the community.Editing
No.In my camera bag
I always have my olympics omd with me. I love how it can rival the more heavyweight cameras in quality while being much easier to carry round. It means I am able to carry it round a lot more, ready to take photos whenever I fancy!Feedback
Just keep trying. I have taken a lot of photos of that church over many months but that day everything came together. So don't be disappointed if the shot doesn't come out perfect the first few times.
