Location
Photo was taken in Portage Du Fort, Quebec along the the Ottawa River.Time
Right after the ceremony, around 3pmLighting
natural sun light up well behind them, especially considering, only about 2 hrs after, it was raining. This shot was not set up. i saw the cousins holding hands on the rock as i was waiting for the family to get ready for there photo to be taken. And snapped the shot with a defuser on my flash to light up the kids facesEquipment
Canon, with a 24-70mm sigma lens, hand held, external flash mounted on camera with a small defuser.Inspiration
first glance.. how cute :)Editing
A light gradient layer is enhancing the sun light, and some vignettingIn my camera bag
for weddings, i am normally caring 2 canon camera bodies, with 4 lens and 2 external flash. i also have a 16" soft box i mount a flash on, for some set ups through the dayFeedback
this shot could very we have been a set up shot. in my case. it was a last minute capture of 2 kids at wedding holding hands. Most wedding photographers, i am sure know. You need to be on your toes to catch some of the best shots on a wedding day. And for any photographer. timing is important for any photo
