Location
This photo was taken at a park by home. I'm a 4th generation photographer. Been working in a studio and photolab since I was 7 yrs old.Time
This photo was taken around 7pm when the sun was going down.Lighting
I wanted my son to have nice even lighting so I placed him facing the sundown.Equipment
This was shot with my canon 5D Mark III and my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens.Inspiration
The reason for this photo was that my son was turning 1 and we were doing an aviation themed birthday party. I printed a 16x20 of it and placed it when you walk into the party.Editing
I did some shadow and minor color corrections with Lightroom and then converted the raw file to a jpeg.In my camera bag
I always have my canon 5D Mark III, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens, EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, and 600ex-rt speedlite in my bag.Feedback
Working with children requires patience. They are unpredictable and get distracted easily. Just make sure to be ready to snap at all times.
