Location
This photo was taken on a photography course in June 2015 with photographer Peter Nilsson. The place is Kullaberg on Sweden's south west coast.Time
We had to get up very early in the morning as the sun rises very early in June. The picture was taken at 4:56 am in the morning.Lighting
Unfortunately, it was not exciting sky. So I decided to shoot from a low position. I found a rock a bit out of the water that was well suited to photograph from.Equipment
I put my tripod in its lowest position. Set the camera on aperture 16 and 8 seconds. The camera and lens I had bought two weeks before the course. The camera is a Sony A7r and lens that I use is a Samyang 14mm.Inspiration
This place is amazing. With lots of very good scenes.Editing
The image is developed in Lightroom. Has adjusted the highlight, shadow, sharpness, and clarity. In my camera bag
In my backpack, F-stop Loka. I have besides my Sony A7r and Samyang 14mm. A Sony 16-35mm f4, Sony f2.8 35mm, Sony 90mm f2.8 macro and various old manual lenses. Sirui Tripod R-5214X and Ball Sirui K-40X. A pair of remote release and lots of cloths. Also has a small spray bottle with water. I use to wash off the salt water from the lens.Feedback
Try shooting from a very low level. It gives you very exciting perspectives.
