Location
This photo is taken Close to my home at the Swedish west coast. It is one of my favorite places. The best part is that most of the time. Not many people visit this Place. Even if it is only 1500 meters from a popular national park.Time
The photo is taken at 20.15 in the evening February 10, 2015. Nearly one hour after sunset.Lighting
I was on my way home when the sky almost exploded in colors. So I just had to stay a bit longer.Equipment
The camera I used was a Canon 70D with a Sigma 10-20mm lens on a tripod. I also used a graduated ND filter to bring down the sky.Inspiration
Not much to say about this. Hopefully people understand that when they see the photo.Editing
As Always I use Lightroom to bring down the highlights and light up the shadows. Some clarity, sharpness and vignetting.In my camera bag
I have since I took this Picture, changed my Equipment. Today I have a Sony A7R fullframe camera. Sometimes I take with me my backup camera, a Sony A6000. My main lens for over one year, has been a Samyang 14mm f2,8. I Think it is an Amazing lens. I put it on f16 and at 1 meter. Then Everything is in focus and very Sharp. I have started to use a Voightländer 15mm f4,5 e-mount. Mainly to have a lighter and smaler Equipment. When I need to use filters. I use a Sony 16-35mm f4. Other lenses in my bag is Batis 25mm f2, Sony 35mm f2,8, Sony 90mm f2,8 and Sony 70-200mm f4. I have a tripod, some filters, remote Controls etc.Feedback
Visit a location over and over again. Keep track of the weather and what the sky looks like. I Always look at the sky to se what is going on. Then I decides where to go. Stay out after the sunset. I normaly stay for at least half an hour. Many times one hour or more.
