Early morningLighting
This was in summer and in the mornings the air can be very clean and brightEquipment
Nikon D70 with the kit lens 18-70mmInspiration
As the garden centre just turned the sprinklers off, I saw the Rose garden, and knew with water there should be something worth shooting, and I was right.Editing
I am a hardened Lightroom user and have almost no idea of interest in using much else, This was done on version 2 so not much you could back then, No I would not try and change anything with the newer versions. I prefer to try and shoot better than spend hours in postIn my camera bag
When this was shot all I had was the D70 and kit lens, now I have a lot more but still own the D70 and lens maybe one day I will try and get another one using the same gear.Feedback
I think this was one of those shots where everything was 100% .But the key part is having the light at the right angle so early mornings are best of this as the air is normally clean and still, if you have a tripod use it, they a pain but worth it. And if there is one thing I can pass on is to "see" light and what it does, master that the rest is easy.
