Location
Zion National Park, Angel's Landing - Utah.Time
This photo was taken on July 3rd, 2015. We woke up at 5AM and took the 1st shuttle to the trail head, we made it to this point within an hour or so. This photo was taken around 6AM - 6:30AM. It was still cool out and the trail wasn't filled with people just yet. Great time for a hike if you want the trails all to yourself.Lighting
Lighting was all natural, the sky was lighting up and the clouds were starting to move in.Equipment
Canon 70D Canon 10-18mm efs f/7.0 12mm 1/30 sec ISO 100Inspiration
This has been a bucket list for a long time. I wanted to hike this trail and I had the chance to do so this year, this photo was indeed inspiring. from this lookout we can look back and see how the trail was carved into the side of the mountain. The valley and the river was a sight and I had to capture this moment.Editing
Yes, I used Lightroom to bring up my shadow and a little of the color. In my camera bag
I like to have my basic cover, Canon 70D, I have my 50mm 1.4 prime, 14mm prime, and my 24-70mm. This this photo I had with me my 10-18mm. I have a film camera with a 50mm lens that I use to shot B&W (Canon 10s). Lens cleaning cloth, and a spare batteries.Feedback
Live in the moment, always have a camera with you. Take the shots people miss, be the photographer you want to be and not the other way around. Enjoy what you do and have fun. Because, isn't that why you got into photography anyways?
