This was done purely with natural light.Equipment
Canon 550D and a Canon 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I saw something similar done by someone and I wanted to test my photoshop skill to see if I could achieve it as well. It took two different shoots to get it right. Also the rest of the images from this series had a similar feeling of escape, so I wanted to continue with the theme.Editing
Tons! Each hand was a separate image, which I layered over the tree and brushed in each time. I also played with the solid colour tool to get the reds and desaturated tones. In my camera bag
I now have a Canon 5D Mark II, I shoot with either a Tamron 90mm, Canon 50mm f1.4 or a Sigma 24-105mm f4. I also have a Canon 430 EX II Speedlight.Feedback
Have the model hang to the side of the tree one hand at a time, otherwise if she stands without hanging, there will be a gap between her wrist and the tree. Also make sure you have someone tall so you can get as high as possible!
