I will have to agree. Love the sky, the colors and the silhouette of that tree. Well done Hanna.

Location
This photo was taken at my old home in Southern Missouri. This was my view from the front door. It had been storming the entire day until the clouds finally cleared and I was able to take one of my all-time favorite images.Time
It was taken at sunset after a long week of summer storming. Sunsets are one of my favorite things to shoot and view. I had never reached for my camera so quickly before. I had to capture one of the best sunsets I'd seen.Lighting
I've always loved how sunsets can make the world look so dark and mysterious while keeping all of it's beauty intact. There is something about natural light that cannot be mimicked, at least for me. No artificial lighting was used. Unless you want to count the small rows of lights at the bottom right-hand corner of the photo, which were from a gas station.Equipment
This photo was shot with a Sony Steady Shot, 20.1 Pixel Digital Camera.Inspiration
At the time this photo was taken, I had been obsessed with getting the perfect sunset image. Sunsets are one of the most beautiful things about our world. Each night, I had been out at the same time, between six and nine in the evening, to watch the sunset with my camera. This photo was taken on a night I had decided to stay in. I had happened to simply glance out the window and very dramatically gasped when I saw this gorgeous view. It's beauty and the excitement of capturing it was all the inspiration I needed.Editing
No post-processing was done.In my camera bag
Sony 20.1 Digital Camera, Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar 24mm lens, Sony 70-400mm Telephoto zoom lens, lens cleaner and spare batteries.Feedback
What I like, and hate, about summer weather in Southern Missouri, is that there is always storms. When you're surrounded by nature, this can be great and terrible all in the same day. For me, in this case, it was wonderful. Nature shots can be tricky to take, but they're usually about timing. Some things can happen by chance, which has been the case for me more than once, but seasons can be predictable if you're familiar with the area. Take a walk with your camera after a storm and you'll be amazed at what you'll find. Mother Nature has a lot to offer someone with a love for photography.
