Unfortunately the rolls of fat just above the hip never looks good. I'd try a slightly adjusted post to try to eliminate or minimize that particular feature. You'll get a better picture, and in all likelihood a happier model.

Ha! That's so funny! I left them there on purpose. I actually prefer my women to be real and un-photoshopped. I don't believe in hiding, what some might consider, those "rolls of fat" an undesirable feature. The model was at this show, in particular, and was complimented over and over for her beauty and her bravery. I find that it obnoxious when photographers try to "perfect" the female form. Personally, I would rather celebrate it. The point of the photograph wasn't to portray a PERFECT-BY-SOCIETIES-UNREALISTIC standards, but rather to view the form in nature and also to emulate the strength of womanhood with her holding the hides, like a goddess, and the curled branches emulating wings. I cannot possibly think of a more beautiful model, or perfect example of what a woman looks like. But thanks for the thought.

Let me say up front, I am straight. but I find this picture to be very sensuous. And I truly believe that men appreciate this more than "in-your-face". The fullness of her body is much more appealing than some skinny minny. In fact if you look at old pictures of women they had full thighs and full arms. Has no one ever noticed Marilyn Monroe! Society has changed whatThey think is healthy and beautiful and they are wrong. This is a very beautiful picture.

I couldn't agree with you more about women and the current trend in anorexic looking women. This is one of my best friends. She is about a size 5... which is skinny! I was going for a sensual image, and I am glad you like it. I just love the more natural take on nudes, and also, I'm not too much of a fan of "in your face" nudity... My preference is to look at the human body with a more "leave it to the imagination" take on things. Thanks for taking the time to look at my work!
