Location
I took this photo in New Tampa, at Wire Grass Shops.Time
It was close to 11 am.Lighting
I was waiting for the sun to be as high as possible for this shot, there was a lot of chrome on this Vicky that was worth capturing, and the louvers offered a great effect.Equipment
I used my Canon T3i with a Tamron 17-50mm, handheld, no flash, up close and personal.Inspiration
I have always loved this style of car, the very famous 34 Vick. The angle of the light over the hood and the front windshield made it ideal.Editing
I did, I used lightroom. I cropped out some people from the audience, i applied vignette, I over-saturated the color not to the point of HDR, but just enough to make them pop. Elevated clarity and all the basics. In my camera bag
I still carry my Canon T3i, I also have a SLi, and 5D-MKII for cameras. For Lenses I have a Tamron 17-50 mm, Sigma 18-250, Canon 24-105 mm, Canon 24 mm, Canon 24-80 mm UM, Canon 100-300 mm UM.Feedback
I am a self taught photographer, I have no special training, and I read alot of books. Dont give up, dont get frustrated, learn from you pictures. Always carry a ND filter it will help , carry a tripod and a trigger. Invest in a good glass preferably 24-100 mm, get a good nd filter for it as well.
