Location
This photo was taken in Aegina island, Greece, which is my homeland.Time
It was a summer's hot night and i was taking a walk at the island's port.i didn't have a tripod with me so i placed my Canon 7D on a bench and took the photo using slow shutter and self timer so that i wouldn't shake the camera when i pressed the button.Lighting
I didn't use any artificial light because i wanted to capture what my eyes were seeing without harsh lights and unwanted shadows.Equipment
No tripod at that time as i mentioned before, a Canon 7D with a sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.No flash or led lights were used.Inspiration
The reflections of the lights on the water was like a painting that i had to capture.Editing
I did a little editing but nothing heavy, this photo is about 80% as it was shot right out of the camera. In my camera bag
Now my bag contains a Sony A7ii, a Samyang 20mm T1.9, a Canon 50mm f1.8, a Canon 24-105mm f4 and a Nikkor 55mm f1.2.Feedback
Try to have a tripod with you, always use the self timer feature and as long as you use long exposure times try to lower the ISO and use an aperture between 9 and 11 in most cases.
