I took this photo in Hempstead forest near my home, we mainly walk in the forest with the dog at weekends. I am a self taught photographer and never miss a chance to practice my skills.Time
This photo was taken mid morning, as it was a weekend day we get up a bit later than usual, of course the bees were busy way before we got there.Lighting
This shot was taken in normal day light, probably the best for me as I have not had much practice using the flash which I find gives to much light.Equipment
This picure was taken on my Nikon Coolpix L300, it's easy to carry in my camera bag and I dont need anything else.Inspiration
I always take my camera when we go out walking, never one to miss a new caputure the forest always has something different to focus on be it insects or bugs or trees.Editing
No post-processing used in this picture, I think nature speaks for its self.In my camera bag
I am not a professional photographer in the real sense of the word, being self taught I just take my camera and go, enjoying taking shots in the moment.Feedback
Be patient taking macro shots, it takes time to focus the image and take into account the weather, its so much harder to take a photo when its windy.
