Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a local park that is very popular with photographers. It's called the international peace gardens and it has so much information about history around the world.

Time

It was taken right before golden hour, we were out there until it got cold just having fun and shooting.

Lighting

100% natural lighting

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 6D and a canon 85mm 1.8

Inspiration

Covid was still pretty new so we wanted to have fun with masks and toilet paper. We decided to take a few photos with the masks on with things that you normally wouldn't do with a mask on, like kissing.

Editing

I focus on editing to the skin tone and use presets I bought and adjust them to my liking.

In my camera bag

I normally have way too much and carry around 2 bags because anxiety. In my bags I have my canon 6D, a canon 5D, a 50mm 1.8, my 85mm 1.8, my 35mm 2.0, the 70-200mm 2.8, a 24-70mm 2.8 a 24-105mm 4.0 a little cheap speed light, lens wipes, spare batteries for the flash, 5 sd cards, and at least 5 spare camera batteries.

Just have fun! Focus on the exposure of the subjects and in post edit to the skin tones!
