This is my favorite picture of a two week camping trip in Utah and Colorado. The water was spring and was so cold that I had to keep one foot out of the water. I looked like a flamingo.

Location
Mammoth Creek Utah.Time
This was taken just before the sunset for the day. It was amazingly peaceful with the water running over the rocks, and I waded into the water to get this shot.Lighting
The lighting coming through the break in the trees made this shot. It gave the water such a beautiful look with the reflection of the sunset.Equipment
This was shot on Sony A7rii, 16-35mm, and on a Tripod.Inspiration
This was the first trip I took specifically for photography. When I captured this I knew it was one of my favorite captures and still is to this day. Its the only photograph that I have printed of my own work. I love capturing the movement of water and I waded out into the freezing water to capture this. I would have to hold one foot out of the water alternating them because it was soo cold. We were setting up the tent for the night and I wasn't done being inspired by my location. So I waded out into the water and was able to capture this at a campground.Editing
I just did some color adjustments to this. Everything else is basically straight out of the camera. In my camera bag
You name it....I would rather walk around with 40lbs on my back than miss something I need. So I bring everything everywhere. I walked 15 miles in NYC with DJI Ronin/Drone/6 Lenses/ 2 Camera Bodies and batteries for it all. I used everything except the drone. So I am always prepared for anything that comes my way.Feedback
It doesn't matter where you are just capture everything. I suffered really cold water for 10-15 minutes trying to get this long exposure shot right. Sometimes art hurts but just be smart and listen to your inner creative. It can lead to some amazing stuff!
