Behind The Lens
Location
I took the photo at Bhambore which is ruins of an ancient city located in Sindh province of Pakistan. The city dates back to 1st century BCE.Time
It was a really hot day around 2pm with harsh light and I was travelling to Thatta and I saw this lonely tree on my way and wanted to go and have a look.Lighting
The lighting was really harsh and I had little room to play with the color gradients so I took a minimalistic approach and turned the photo into black and white as I wanted to portray a feeling of loneliness.Equipment
This was shot on Canon EOS 750D with a kit lens (18-55mm) and it was a handheld shot. No other equipment used in this photo.Inspiration
Bhambore is an ancient ruin of a city so a single tree in the whole area made me curios as how old the tree might be and how has it survived such a test of time.Editing
Usually landscape photography requires lots of post processing but due to harsh lightning conditions I had not much room to play with the color gradients so i decided to turn it black and white which will add some emotions to the photo. In my camera bag
I usually carry my camera ,its basic lens, a 50mm prime lens and a tripod and nothing else.Feedback
