Behind The Lens

Location

I took this up on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, UK, we had just bought the ex-military Land Rover and were taking it for a drive along the byways.

Time

Lunchtime/Afternoon, 13:25.

Lighting

It was a cold but sunny day in March, around lunchtime so the sun is was in a great position for a naturally lit shot.

Equipment

iPhone X! The best camera you own is the one in your hand!

Inspiration

My partner spontaneously got up on the bonnet so I shouted to him to stop so I could take a shot. I don’t tend to plan these things. If I see it, I shoot it!

Editing

A little. I added a slight dark vignette.

In my camera bag

I normally have my Canon EOS 6D with my favourite Canon 70-200mm lens, however, not that day!

Feedback

Don’t plan it. Let things happen around you, shoot your friends so they get used to you taking shots of them otherwise things don’t happen naturally. Mostly, have fun with your photography!
