Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Ancona, my home hometown, in its port.Time
It was about 7p.m.Lighting
In this case the only sources of lighting were the boat that passed through and the lantern.Equipment
This was shot with a CANON 6D with a 18/75 lens. It was a long exposure using a tripod.Inspiration
I was taking lightpainting photos in the port with my girlfriend. While she was shooting in direction of the city I noticed a boat departing. I decided to set my camera on the tripod in direction of the lantern and the sea to take the light trail to sense the departure for a new travel.Editing
I removed some light spot due to the long exposure, a little re-illuminated the pier and contrasted the colors left by the light on the sea.In my camera bag
Recently in my bag I bring my canon 6D, a canon lens 18/75 and a tokina lens 12/24.Feedback
Focus on the sensation you want to transfer to the people and let to the light do its work. Try try and try again.
