Location
This photograph was taken in October 2015 in a churchyard in Suffolk (the village name I need to withhold for reasons of security, see below!)Time
This was taken at 13:25, so just after lunch on a bright October day. I had an appointment, as Vicar of the church, to meet a representative from a company offering to install a roof alarm to protect the lead on the church roof. In order to survey the building from above for the installation quote he had brought along a drone. I had heard about drones, but this was my first sight of one and hence my first experience of one in use.Lighting
Bright October daylightEquipment
I was using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 bought second-hand with a 100-300mm zoom lens attached, on an "intelligent auto" setting. The data recorded shows as follows 1/800 sec. ISO 100 f5.6Inspiration
My first chance to see a drone in useEditing
Not that I can recall (although I soemetimes crop, and adjust brightness and / or contrast in GIMP2In my camera bag
At that time DMC-G1. Now using Panasonic G9 with 100-300mm zoom lensFeedback
Have the camera to hand at all times... and it's helpful to have a co-operative drone controller!
