Experienced a very rare occurrence in Death Valley. A substantial rain (for Death Valley) flooded Cottonball Basin. There was no wind on this morning and lenticular clouds were signaling more wind on the way. The outline of the flooded salt polygons was fantastic in giving texture to the reflection. Enjoy!

This is a pic from Grand Teton that I finally had the chance to finish in Lightroom. It is the one that I will print. It was a beautiful morning.

We were first to arrive this morning and wanted to just fire away at sunrise and see what would happen. Only a few pics gave us the purple glow of the
