Location

This photo was taken at my own studio in Poprad, Slovakia.

Time

As shooting in studio, time of the day is not important here. As soon I start, better results I can expect.

Lighting

Lighting setup was very easy, just two strobo lights, Fomei Digital ProX 500, one set on half power from right front side with big soft box and second light from back left set on half power.

Equipment

This was shot on Canon 5D Mark II with Canon 70 - 200 mm F/2,8 L IS II USM at 145 mm, with F/9 and 1/125s. I used two strobolights to make atmosphere ant to shot the silhouette.

Inspiration

I was hard working on my project named “Sensual Beauty” consisting of sensual and emotive pictures of natural female beauty. Collection of photos showing 100 different faces, 100 different bodies and 100 different women in the play with lighting and shadows which arises charm, sensualism and inimitability of a woman. Collection of photos assigned to celebration of a woman as a human being, as a goddess, as a mother, sister and daughter and as a personality. Collection of photos showing a woman as beautiful as she really is. With her natural beauty, with her emotions and feelings, with her awesome body which is covered and uncovered at the same time. Every woman is beautiful in her own way and I will try to uncover this way. The photographer tries to tell the viewers with his photos that there is no need to be naked and vulgar to show your sex appeal. The old saying “Less is more” is the only truth in this collection, it encourages viewer’s imagination and fantasy and help to view the female beauty and sensuality from a new point. Collection won more then 15 international awards from Tokyo, trough Moscow, Paris, London to Los Angeles and New York

Editing

Photo was little processing with Photoshop, only small skin corrections, converted to black and white and some curve settings to make a better contrast.

In my camera bag

After 11 years of shootings Im trying to have minimum equipment in my bag, so I only take my medium format camera Pentax 645Z with smc 55 mm F/2,8 and full frame Pentax K1 with 24-70 mm F/2,8.

Feedback

Try to find ideal light setup and then you only need to bring good atmosphere to feel model very comfortable and secure.
