Location
This photo was taken in the studio of my friend. I invited three dancers to create an unusual photo session.Time
The photo was taken in the evening. I needed a minimum of light for my project.Lighting
I used two flashes and everything)Equipment
I used the Olympus OMD E-M1 camera. The camera is protected from dust and can shoot up to 10 frames per second. I chose a lens with a fixed focal length of 34mm (in film equivalent). The room was not big and I needed to grab more space. I did not use a tripod, Olympus has an excellent five-axis stabilizer, which allows you to remove from hands on long exposures. All the equipment that I used is a camera and two flashes. The flashes were triggered by a radio synchronizer.Inspiration
I was inspired by the ballet "Per Gynt" (choreography by Edward Kluge), where the main character is thrown flour. Before that, I was already working with flour and I almost understood what it would look like. I am grateful to the girls - dancers, they played their role magnificently.Editing
I practically did not process the photo. You can safely say that this is a file from the camera)In my camera bag
I use different systems. But I love Olympus very much. This is a very convenient camera with very good optics. I like working with fixed focal length lenses, so there is almost no zoom in my bag.Feedback
Experiment more! When working with flour, you need to be able to throw it well into the model) otherwise there will be inexpressive clouds of dust. You will definitely need an assistant - flour thrower. Also, we need a camera with a good serial shooting, in order to have time to make several frames in a short period of time, when the flour is scattered.
