Location
Location - small airport in deep South Florida, the rock marked the burrowing owl nest. This particular owl had incredible ability to enjoy watching airplanes and a small amount of people activity. This owl had adapted a unique personality that was adorable for the small size, confident and content their territory near an airport. The airport is surrounded by huge empty fields of grass mowed to a height the owl loves. And some tunnels were already created and abandoned from people activity. I watched this bird catch a large insect and feed it to a juvenile soon after this photo was captured. This was my first time photographing owls. I was able to observe and take photos from a fairly close range for 2 hours.Time
