Location
The picture was taken in the skies over Noertrange, a small town in the north of Luxembourg.Time
It was around 3 pmLighting
It's all natural light and it was good even if the shot was taken mid-day because of the clouds that were blocking the sun a little bit.Equipment
Shot with a Canon 760D and Sigma 15mm Fish-eye mounted on my helmet and triggered with a bite switch.Inspiration
I was holding a course to teach people how to fly a wingsuit. On the ground i remember thinking that the light was awesome with all those clouds. I thought it would be a good opportunity to get an amazing shot and get my student a cool memory of his first ever wingsuit flight!Editing
I just did some basic processing, a little bit of cropping and vignetting and i added some clarity and contrast.In my camera bag
As i like to shoot action sports and sports in general in always have my two fish-eyes with me to be able to get close to the action: Sigma 15mm 2.8 and Samyang 8mm 3.5. Otherwise i really like my Canon 24mm 2.8 and Canon 50mm 1.8! I also use my canon 55-250mm 4-5.6 a lot for sports as i couldn't afford a better zoom lens.Feedback
Action sports photography, specially skydiving is a lot of trial and error, at least to me. While skydiving i have to set my camera in the plane and once i jumped out the door there's nothing i can do about these settings anymore. With time you learn which settings to use in which weather and light conditions but it's still exciting to see what results you got once you landed on the ground!
