Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while I sat in the passenger seat of the car, not able to get out, surrounded by water on a straight stretch of road on our way back from a weekend away out west. This particular area is low lying so it's prone to flooding, further down the road it was so deep we ended up having to turn around and take another, less flooded way home.

Time

It was late afternoon

Lighting

It's all natural lighting, sun was going down.

Equipment

Just my canon camera with the kit lens

Inspiration

The thing that inspired me the most to take the photo was the reflection of that big old dead tree in the water, and of course the water itself, it stretches along that road and our into paddocks for miles.

Editing

I did, only adding some slight enhancements to the sky and clouds, nothing extra special was really needed.

My camera bag is packed ready to go everytime. Camera, lenes, external flash and triggers, spare sd cards and batteries. And some other useful accessories.
