Gorgeous shot. I am drawn to the softness of the image making it provocative and mysterious.

Love this. Love the lighting and the soft focus. It blends real with unreal.

Location
I took this at a tennis court on the island of oahu. Taylor (the model) and I were driving around looking for another location when we can across this court with the gate unlocked. What followed what magic in itself.Time
It was 930 sharp. I like to shoot early. Usually around 8 in the morning but me being on a "vacation-like" business trip I decided to shoot a little later, after breakfast with some friends.Lighting
The lighting was harsh so we stayed mostly in the shadows. Thankfully that is how this picture came to be. the shadow of the fence.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel T5 with 50mm 1.8. I shoot light, no other equipment while shooting.Inspiration
I have been following Taylor for about 5 years now on Instagram. Honestly she was the muse for her own photoshoot. Being a photographer herself I looked at her eye to create the style of this shoot.Editing
A little I have a filter I already preset in light room. Other then that I make sure skin tones are flush if not affected by shadows and that is it.In my camera bag
I keep my camera, Canon Rebel T5, 50mm 1.8, 24mm 1.4, 35 3.0 and some kind of zoom I can't remember at the time. I always keep my Polaroid with me and charger for my camera. Glitter, crystals and an umbrella. oh bug spray as well!Feedback
Don't be afraid to get close. But be sure your model is comfortable with you doing that. Remember with prime lenses the closer you are the more detail it brings out. Find shadows and make them an advantage. Try to stay out of direct sunlight. & have fun!
