Location

This photo I have taken in Saarbrücken, Germany at the horse race "17. SPARKASSEN RENNTAG am 24. Mai 2015 (Pfingstsonntag)".

Time

Various horse races run for several hours a day. So it is an event shooting and you have no chance to select a special time for your photo.

Lighting

In preparation , you can try a good position with respect to the light conditions at the racecourse to search . Specifically may determine to the lighting conditions do not , because you have the event shooting perform during the event .

Equipment

I have used Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 70-200mm: f/3,2 , 200mm, ISO 400, 1/200 sec

Inspiration

I found the dynamics of movements moves capture those exciting moments .

Editing

The photo I revised terms of contrasts and a HDR effect .

In my camera bag

I am a very versatile photographer and work for different contracts in sports photography , event photography and wedding photography . In addition, I work artistically and intend to participate in competitions . Therefore, I have never been my photo equipment complete this but the task accordingly.

Feedback

For such a recording , I recommend a telephoto lens with at least 200mm and faster trigger function . Check out the location in advance at different places has and take test shots . Think about when you will be at what time to photograph the event with respect to the lighting conditions .
